Logan is two years old♥

After a day of playing at the playground, Krispy Kreme donuts, balloons from the Dollar Store and playing with friends, we sang Logan "Happy Birthday" when Steve got home from work and we had donuts again. (!!) Logan was the cutest thing when we sang to him; he absolutely loved it. And he got really excited about those candles too ;)

Happy Birthday to my beautiful boy! We sure love you, Logan♥

Halloween 2015: Where's Waldo??

IMG_8538UntitledUntitled

There aren't enough red and white stripes in this post, right?? Haha. This was one of my favorite family Halloween costumes yet!! Even Steve said this was his favorite one! And the boys surprisingly l o v e d their costumes too! On Friday, the 30th, we went to our ward's Halloween party and I spent the afternoon beforehand putting that white duct tape on our shirts and hats and making the cute little pom poms out of red yarn. I bought the glasses and the red hats at the dollar store and I found all of our red shirts for cheap at Walmart so I really spent very little!

The boys were soooo excited about wearing their costumes to the ward activity. They even kept their hats and glasses on the entire time! I was so shocked! I thought that once we got to the activity, Cole would be wishing that I had dressed him up as some superhero. But he was so excited to show off his costume; I loved it :)

The next day, on Halloween, our friends threw a fun little Halloween party and we went trick or treating from there! I asked Cole before we went to this party if he wanted to be something different but he requested being Waldo again. I seriously loved that he loved his costume so much :) Everyone who saw us kept saying to us: "We found you!" I've always loved Halloween and I always will!!

One more year til 30!!! I'm starting to feel the pressure to finish everything on my 30 before 30 list. Although I'm positive I won't be able to finish all of it. Life seems to go by so fast sometimes. And then sometimes it goes by so slow. This past year went by SO fast. I feel like time just flies, especially when you aren't pregnant haha. My 28th year will go down as a really good year for me. After all, it was my *golden* year and I took that very seriously ;) I felt happy with how I looked and felt, I live in a wonderful place, I have wonderful friends, a beautiful family and a loving husband who works so hard for us and is doing so well with it. I have so much to be grateful for. 28 will always be a happy year for me!!!! Hopefully 29 is just as great.

On my actual birthday, my mother in law took me to lunch at Panera Bread (love that place) and Steve brought me home the most beautiful bouquet of flowers (I'm such a sucker for flowers!!!) and then he took me to Red Robin for dinner where the highlight was the salted caramel milk shake we enjoyed. Yum! (It's probably really obvious when I'm hungry and I post on my blog because I start talking about food a ton ;)

The next day, my friends took me and two other of my friends who have birthdays right around me out to dinner at Sweeto Burrito. I love that place too ;) Girls nights are soooo fun and sooo needed every now and then. They make you feel young and hip again. Plus, these girls seriously are a riot. I always laugh so much when I'm with them. Thanks for the birthday love, ladies ♥
