Steve initially said that he wasn't going to participate in family costumes this year. I guess he didn't really like having paper feathers taped to his rear two years ago, or maybe he didn't really like being Joe Jonas last year. I really don't think he had it all that bad so I don't know why he was complaining...but in any case, he did participate this year because I kept it so simple
last minute. Buying dollar store sunglasses and popping the lenses out really does take the cake on being the easiest costume. Cole was all about it at first when he saw that he got to match his mom and dad. He left those glasses on for a good chunk of time for an almost two year old. And he didn't even snap the glasses in half! I was impressed! They're still in tact for whenever we dress him up as a hipster next.
This year Halloween got dragged out. I don't mind because I've always loved Halloween, just about as much as I love the dollar store ;) Britt and Greg threw another awesome Halloween party last weekend, just like last year, and play group yesterday turned into a little costume party :) We didn't go trick or treating although I did consider going, but I knew Cole would just want to eat and eat and eat all the candy and so I decided against it. That little boy loves sugar too much and I'm pretty sure it would have made him break out in hives! :/ Maybe next year!
Hope everyone had a very hipster Halloween! ;)
