SKI DAY! Cole's first time!

It was so fun taking Cole skiing for the very first time yesterday! We didn't really know what to expect because Steve and I both didn't learn to ski until we were much older but Cole LOVED it! He kept saying how much fun it was and he did really well for his first time. He can't wait to go back! ❄️🎿

One day our whole family will be on the slopes together! But that won't be for a VERY long time. Thanks to my mom and dad for watching Logan and Crew for us so we could do this!!

Also, fun fact: Lissie and I got our puffer jackets the night before for dirt cheap on clearance at Walmart. In the little boys section. 🙈I looked like a round little blueberry out there 😂 Maybe if I went skiing more than once every few years I'd invest in some real ski gear. Until then, I'll be keeping it real classy around here 😂

Happy New Year 2018 from Gig Harbor, WA

It was the first time that my kids have actually gone to their grandparents' house! It seems so simple, but it's just so fun to be able to spend a weekend with my parents in their house! My mom has decorated it all cute and the kids had the time of their lives just playing, making messes and spending time with family. Lots more trips to their grandparents' will happen in the very near future, I'm sure!

Cole turns SEVEN!

Cole turned 7 a couple weeks ago and I never had a chance to post about how much we love this boy! He is growing up before our eyes. He tried soccer for the first time this last season and Steve even got to be an assistant coach! Cole loved playing soccer and wasn't too bad at it! He loves school too and is doing really well at it; he's become a great little reader and loves math too. He also loves to do crafts and his teacher says he always loves to write these long essays during writing time at school. He wrote one all about how much he loves me and it totally made me cry when I read it 😭 We are so proud of Cole and love his tender heart. He is full of love for his brothers and for me and Steve. We love you Cole!! We love that you've been a part of our family for 7 years!!! ❤️
