armadillos....everywhere!!!

They opened up a new trail by our house so we went on a little family walk this evening
and saw no less than SEVEN armadillos!!
The first one we saw about gave me a heart attack...until I realized they're harmless.
We'd never seen one before. Pretty cool hu?! :)

  1. Oh cool, where is this? I want to see one! Did you know the only way you can get leprosy in the US is my touching an armadillos foot? Ha ha! Dan tells me that all the time. Gross.

  5. The first time I ever saw an armadillo was went I went with Marie to Orlando for a cheerleading competition (1997?) I watched them from the bus window all along the freeway (and also noticed that all the homes had porches which were completely covered with wire netting). It made me wonder about all the unusual creatures that must live in the South!
